Working out of Pennsylvania, Lee Ann is one of Apria's Respiratory Therapists and spends her days helping Respiratory and Sleep patients. Lee Ann shared some thoughts on her role here as a Respiratory Therapist, her time with the company, and some personal information to get to know her better:
I joined Apria over 9 years ago to embrace a new opportunity in my professional setting.
I stay because I find it rewarding to assist and educate patients in the comfort of their own environments. This approach fosters a more personalized level of care. Additionally, I value the flexibility of the schedule. The supportive management and staff at Apria have made my experience both enjoyable and fulfilling, which is why I remain committed to my role here.
I take pride in being a part of Apria because I feel we are a motivated and growing team committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.
I would describe my job as a Respiratory Therapist as someone who works closely with physicians to help patients breathe easier and enhance the quality of life from the comfort of their own homes. I do this by providing treatments such as oxygen therapy, ventilator management, CPAP therapy, and self-care techniques to help patients manage symptoms effectively.
Being a family of 5, life outside of work gets crazy sometimes. Some things I enjoy doing in my free time are attending my boys' sporting events and my daughter's dance competitions, camping or doing anything outdoors, and I love to craft!
