Teammate Spotlight: Meet Ann!
Ann has been one of Apria's Respiratory Therapists for an incredible 18 years, providing excellent clinical care to our patients in the Tennessee area. With her long tenure here, Ann has particular insight into the Respiratory Therapist role, Apria's culture, and what it's like to be part of the organization — and she told us a little about herself! Here's what she had to say:
Why did you join Apria and what makes you stay?
I joined Apria 18 years ago because of their reputation in the field as a company that maintains high standards for its product and services that are provided to patients.
It's been easy to stay for so long because I feel that there has always been strong leadership in the company and we've been able to keep our focus on providing the best care to our patients. I also have been lucky to work with an exceptional team daily.
Why are you proud to work at Apria?
Apria is a leader in the durable medical equipment space, and we offer a lot more than just equipment. We provide care, education, and follow-up to our patients throughout their care journeys.
How would you describe your job to someone outside of Apria?
I provide critical information, support, and instruction to patients and referral sources about respiratory care products, and help patients manage their health while on respiratory therapy.
What are some things you like to do in your free time?
I love to spend time with my family and watching football any chance I get — and I love a good shopping spree!
