Taneisha Coston has been a Respiratory Therapist with Apria for seven years, dedicating herself to supporting patients and their families. She strives to make breathing and sleep easier for every patient she works with, always keeping their comfort and well-being at the forefront. Taneisha Coston recently shared her thoughts on her role as a Respiratory Therapist, her journey with Apria, and some personal details to help us get to know her better:
I originally joined Apria because of my previous work schedule in sleep labs at night. Those work hours at that time did not work well for my family. Family is always first in my book. I continue to stay because I have built some strong relationships with some coworkers and especially my NIV patients and their family members. I feel like I have to make sure they are ok and well taken care of.
I take pride in working for Apria because of my NIV patients. Some of them have become extended family to me.
I try and keep it simple for people, “I try and make sure your breathing, and sleep is much easier.”
I love live music, spending time with family, and all crafts (I can do almost anything).
Bora Bora.
