Crystal Marie has been with Apria for an impressive 11 years now, and she works as a Senior Specialist within the Billing Center Quality team out of Missouri. Crystal Marie took some time to share what her job entails, her personal passions and what she loves about working at Apria. Here's what she had to share:

What made you want to join Apria 11 years ago?

I honestly joined Apria because I had met an employee who worked with Apria, and she was so happy and excited about what she did here. She had expressed to me about the cross training and how she felt like she made a difference at the end of the day.  She said that she felt that with my energy I would fit right in, and it was like a big happy family. 

What has made you stay for the past 11 years?

I have stayed with Apria, because I like what I do, and I have a sense of accomplishment when our customer is happy. I tell everyone that I am CSI of Apria which means Cannot Stop Investigating; when there is a complaint I keep investigating until I get the right answer. I feel supported, appreciated, trusted, and accepted by my management team and that makes me want to give and do my best.

Why are you proud to work at Apria?

I am proud to be an Apria employee because I have the opportunity to change someone’s opinion of my department and/or the company. In my role here, I am the investigator, preparer, and fixer for our patients; and working here at Apria has allowed me to make and be a part of change in the healthcare and insurance industries.

What are three things you like to do in your free time?

I love to spend time with family and friends, travel whenever I can, and watch or listen to the Kansas City Chiefs!

What is your dream vacation?

My dream vacation is traveling to Jerusalem so I can see the Dead Sea, the Jordan River, and Bethlehem.
