Ciera Bolton has been with Apria for just about four years and she works remotely out of Virginia. Ciera wrote about her role here as a Patient Account Resolution Specialist as well as what she enjoys doing in her personal time from work, and here's what she had to say: 

What made you join Apria and what has driven you to stay?

I have stayed with Apria because I LOVE what I do. I have grown so much personally & professionally since I entered the durable medical equipment world. I have learned patience, perseverance, and most of all confidence. I used to constantly second-guess myself on the job, even if I was doing something right, I would overthink every situation.

Apria has taught me to trust myself and to go with my gut. I put my all into everything that I do & Apria does not hesitate to recognize or praise people's efforts. I am so happy to be a part of this company and hope to retire here! 

If you had to describe your job to someone who doesn't work at Apria, how would you do so?

I review patients' accounts and obtain the documentation required to bill the patient's insurance, allowing our patients to utilize their benefits and equipment, stress-free.

What are three things you like to do in your free time?

I have three baby girls, they're 6 years old & under, plus I have a doxiepoo puppy and a 28 pound tabby cat, so I spend 99% of my free time with them! I am also a singer/songwriter & play guitar as well.

What is your favorite band?

My favorite band has to be Fleetwood Mac.
