Love it!
This is the best mask ever! I tried another one and couldn't sleep with it. it literally poked me in my eyes. I ran to the local office and they helped fit me with the dreamwear. I've never slept so good in my life! I put a loose ponytail on at night and slip the head strap under it so the strap stays in place all night.
My first mask and not sure why I'd try another
I only started using a CPAP less than 4 weeks ago. Like most of you, it took me a while to get used to using it. Since this was the mask my Doc prescribed and which came with my machine, I have no experience with other styles or manufacturers. Nonetheless, it only took me 3-4 nights to become accustomed to the mask and machine and I was soon sleeping 7-8 hours without even moving! The nasal pillow takes a minute or two to get adjusted for the best fit, but once in position, I'm lights out for the night. If I have to get up during the night, I simply unsnap the hose from the top of the headgear then reattach it when I get back into bed. The connection at the top means I can turn over without having to worry about the hose becoming tangled. I can see how the foam strap at the back can become stretched and loose but so far it hasn't been a problem.
I agree with everyone else about the head strap as it does slide up the back of your head and then the mask leaks. But it is by far the most comfortable mask that they make
Best Mask in 17 Years
I've been using a cpap nightly since 1999. This is the most comfortable, flexible and efficient mask i have ever had. Try it, you'll love it. One pointer - the initial kit comes with 3 sizes of nose pillow, but if you have fitting problems the side tube(s) also can be ordered in different sizes.
Really like this mask
The only problem is what others have said—the head strap stretches out and rides up the back of my head. I think it should be replaced more often than every 6 months.
Great when it works.
Just switched to the Dreamwear mask. The only things keeping it from being Outstanding are: 1 - the head gear keeps slipping up to the top of my head and causing the nasal pillow to leak;.2 - head gear straps are beginning to stretch resulting in my having to readjust the mask fitting.
It is a tremendous pleasure to have the tube connected at the top and not have to worry about getting tangled up with tube when I move about.
As stated above, correct the two items and this mask will be OUTSTANDING.
I wish
The DreamWear is comfortable but even the small is too big for me. I have used the Breeze for years and love it, but hard to get replacements for it. I really wish this would have worked for me.
Besy Fit For Me
This is the fourth type of mask that I have used and it finally is the best for me. The others hurt my face in some way or caused rubbing sores in/on my nose. This mask which is really not a mask is so comfortable and I sleep better with it. The only exception is that the head strap loses its elasticity and frequently moves up on the back of my head causing more air to escape the nose piece than should be.
Most Comfortable Mask Yet
Bear Trap11/10/2017
I've been through a lot of different style masks since 2005. Some better than others, but none as unobtrusive as the Dreamwear Mask. I sleep better with this mask and my wife does too.
Best Yet
Been using this for 6 months now, the most comfortable setup I have had in 24 years of using CPAP.
Respironics Dreamwear Mask and Headgear
I have been using this mask and headgear for over 2 years now. I am claustrophobic this is perfect for me. I also love the fact the tubing comes of the top of the head, I do not have that fear of being strangled by the tubing when I toss and turn at night. The only thing I do not like is the fact that I have to keep tightening the head strap because it is stretched out. My insurance replaces this every six months. I have woken up with my mask off my head and on the floor or to adjust my cushion.
Dreamwear mask
I’ve had this new headgear in mass now or six months it is the most comfortable headgear I have had ever. I would never go back to the other nose thing again this is so much better and so comfortable I can’t tell you enough about it thanks
I love this thing...
I first has the Wisp Nasal CPAP Mask... and it wasn't that comfortable. Kept making my nose itch. Then I got this one... and because I roll back and forth sleeping on my side... this works so much better for me.

Though I do notice that it presses my hair backwards (hope it doesn't rub a bald spot). LOL!
Comfortable mask but headband in back of my head tends to slip to the top of my head. I find myself pulling down on the back headband. Also as a side-sleeper when I bury the side of my face into the pillow it impinges the airflow from the top mask connector thru the mask's side air tube pressed against pillow. I've learned to sleep lighter on the side of my face on the pillow. Worthwhile change to accommodate the headgear.
Benefits of a proper fitting mask
Da Mayor 8/16/2017
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea in March of 2017 and tried 6different masks. This was the only one that didn't distort my nose and jaw. It is not only very comfortable, but I can sleep through the night on my back or either side.
Combined with my ResMed CPAP machine my wife and I are able to finally get a great nights sleep without her having to make sure I don't stop breathing. (Posted on 8/16/17)
One of the most comfortable mask
I've been using the Dreamwear mask for 1 year and find it to be one of the most comfortable mask ever.
Fitted correctly it performs perfectly. I can even sleep on my side! Only issue I have is the head strap over 6 months keeps stretching and I have to keep tightening it to keep a secure fit, as long as you do this it performs great.
