Cellulitis
Cellulitis is the process that occurs when an infection in or close to the skin spreads through the tissue. The resulting abnormal accumulation of fluid in the body tissues produces swelling, which is accompanied by heat, redness, and tenderness. Cellulitis is treated with IV antibiotics.
