  BRIEF: Relay for Life Friday to include dinner for survivors
 
 

May 11--PALESTINE SUN, May 11 2008

-- Anderson County Relay for Life Committee will honor cancer survivors and their caregivers with a dinner catered by Shep's BBQ from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at Westwood High School football field.

At 7 p.m., the survivor ceremony will be held, followed by the survivor lap to kick off the Anderson County Relay for Life.

"We encourage all cancer survivors to come join us for an evening of fun, friends, good food and gifts," a news release said. "We would also like to thank this year's survivor dinner sponsors who are Blue Cross Blue Shield and Texas First Title Company, LLC.
