Publicis Healthcare Communications Group (PHCG) earlier this month announced the appointment of Leo Francis to President, Publicis Medical Education Group (PMEG) USA effective January 1, reporting directly to Nick Colucci, President and CEO of PHCG.

As President of PMEG USA, Francis will be responsible for growing and developing the medical education offerings within the PHCG USA network. "Leo's extensive industry background, global experience, and strong management and communications skills make him the perfect person to lead PMEG USA," said Colucci.

Francis began his career at Gensia Europe Limited in 1990, followed by leadership positions at Gardiner-Caldwell Communications, Ltd., and Colwood/Bates Healthworld International. He joined OCC Europe, Ltd. in 2001 and held the position of President from 2002-2005. Most recently Francis was President of Adelphi Eden Health Communications, a division of the Adelphi Group.

Publicis Healthcare Communications Group is a fully-integrated division of Publicis Groupe SA.
