Nov. 7--The Nicholas County Health Department will be giving H1N1 (swine) flu vaccinations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday (and each Wednesday) at the Nazarene Camp on W.Va. 41 in Summersville, a half-mile from the U.S. 19 intersection.
The vaccination will be available to children and young adults ages 6 months through 24 years, pregnant women, people who live with or care for children younger than 6 months, health care and emergency medical service workers and people ages 25-64 who have certain health conditions such as diabetes, liver/kidney disease, heart/lung disease, neurological disease, asthma or weakened immune systems.
Bring proof of medical condition.
The swine flu shot is not for seasonal flu.
