Nov. 7--CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Fielding a line-up depleted by illness, the ISU volleyball team lost in straight sets to No. 25 Northern Iowa, 25-16, 25-16, 25-11, in Valley play at Cedar Falls, Iowa on Friday.

Mallory Leggett led the Redbirds (10-15, 5-9 MVC) with seven kills while Normal Community product Jenny Menendez recorded 11 digs.

Northern Iowa improved to 13-0 in the Valley and 23-2 overall.
