Nov. 4--NEW DELHI -- A car wash was always about the morning scrub that your neighbourhood cleaner gave your prized possession for 20 odd bucks. But now your car, and infact everything that needs a clean-up can enjoy a 'spa treatment.' As a new trend, businesses in the capital are advertising cleaning services in the name of spa therapy.

"A car spa has surface scrubbing, anti-bacterial treatment and complete dressing of your vehicle. Any treatment that you get in a saloon, we give it to your car," says Sachin Khullar of Oasis Car Spa.

Then there are spas for your pampered pets. At a pet spa, your pooch can get treatments like aromatherapy, deodorisation and styling. "We do hair styling and colouring for dogs. There are also special treatments for ticks and dandruff," says Preeti Kumar, of the Scooby Scrub 'Spa'.

What's more, now you can also go to a 'dental spa' offering cosmetic dental care, teeth whitening and even tooth jewellery. While a car spa treatment starts at Rs 300, you have to shell out nothing less than Rs 2,000 for styling your pet. And that's almost equal to what you shell out for availing services at a dental spa.
