Nov. 4--County Line Raceway will hold a special "Racing for the Kids" event Saturday night to benefit the Victory Junction Gang Camp in Randleman.
A portion of every adult grandstand admission will go to Victory Junction, a year-round camp that helps enrich the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses.
Victory Junction is funded by corporate and individual donations.
The main event Saturday at CLR will be a 40-lap Late Model race with a grand prize of $2,500. There will also be a 25-lap Thunder & Lightning features as well as races in Pure Stock Four-Cylinder (15 laps), Pure Stock V-8 (15 laps), Super Stock Four-Cylinder (20 laps) and UCAR Clash for Cash.
There will also be a train race and demolition derby.
Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, $5 for ages 11-15 and free to children ages 10 and under. Pit admission is $30 for adults and $10 for children ages 10 and under.
Gates will open at 1 p.m. with trophy presentations at 3 p.m. to the 2009 County Line champions and top 10 finishers in five divisions.
