Nov. 4--As part of a statewide effort, the Cleveland County Health Department announced Monday it will hold an H1N1 vaccination clinic Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and again Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cleveland County Health Department in Norman, 250 12th Ave. NE.

The clinics will be limited to Oklahoma residents who are in one of four priority groups, including all children ages 6 months to 18 years, pregnant women, custodial parents of infants less than 6 months of age and adults 19 to 64 years of age with chronic disease.

People seeking vaccinations will be screened to ensure that they meet the priority group definition for H1N1 vaccine. People not included in one of the priority groups or who are unable to attend Saturday's clinic are encouraged to be patient, as new vaccine shipments arrive in Oklahoma each week.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is projected to receive H1N1 vaccine in weekly shipments through early January 2010. The doses include both nasal spray and injectable vaccines.
