3. Answers

Q: What should I do if the power goes off?

A: Your ventilator has an internal battery that will continue to power the unit for about 30 minutes. An external battery should be available in your home to power the ventilator in the event that power resumption is delayed or you travel outside your home. Properly maintained internal batteries will last about 30 minutes. External batteries vary, however, depending on their size and age. Talk to your Apria Healthcare respiratory care practitioner about your batteries' specifications.
